*rotatebuilding not taking

Post by DvdGStwrt »

Software:Unregistered Server
Version Number:0.49.9

Description:
One can rotate buildings with *rotatebuilding #, however launching and returning the building returns to default rotation.

I note that there was an earlier version with same issue, that was "fixed" with V. 0.49.3 however it appears to have broken again.

is this on any world? or on a world your setting up?
if its on your wolrd, it might undo the rotate if time isen't moving at all. it used to be that way anyway, no clue if it still is.

Time on My world moves at 3600 seconds to the game day. About an hour - and that is where I am having problems.

I haven't tried to rotate buildings on any other world.

Cheers

yeh shadow mode 5 wont let you rotate buildings (tho its supposed to warn you about that, so the missing warning message is a bug to be fixed.)
The shadows in mode 5 are precalculated once for each building type (needs to be that way for optimisation reasons) so all buildings need to use the default orientation. Set shadow mode to 0 and the buildings should rotate as normal.
