jump seems broken

Description:
was trying to get vehicles to jump on ciroz, but they wont leave the ground.

settings are:
Extras - 3 or 4
Gravity - 1000 or 100
Jump Height - 10 or 100
vehicle control mode - 0

i can tell its jumping but not leaveing the ground because i have the vehicles set up to not be able to steer while in the air and after hitting shift+tab to jump, the vehicles are unable to able to turn or accel / decel.

tried closing and reopening my client and the server.

try bigger numbers for jump height?

seems to work fine now :P
even with 100 as a height.

but now i'm finding that after jumping a vehicle can't be steered or slowed down at all.
was testing it on zoric with a vehicle that could turn etc in the air, after jumping it'd be stuck rolling accross the landscape at whatever speed it was going when it jumped.

on ciroz it only lasted a few secs though.

You try jumping and turning mid-jump.

if thats supposed to be a question, then yes, turning while in the air isen't working either.

and no, the vehicle isen't set to not be able to steer while in the air.
which woulden't effect it after it jumps and lands again anyway.

I meant...try jumping and turning IRL. It's impossible...I don't think you're supposed to turn after jumping.

yea...ok...now lets see if we can get back on topic about the bug

i think the not being able to control a vehicle after landing from the jump is kind of more important then wether or not you think the game should mimic real life when it comes to vehicle steering while off the ground.

Oh, it doesn't steer AFTER LANDING? Sorry, my mistake, I though you were trying to report that it doesn't steer after jumping (while still in the air).

yes the player becomes frozen and FRICTIONLESS for about 12 seconds after the jump button is pressed. (in the world im building)

different vehicles seem to have an effect. vehicle 0 froze completely for 12 seconds and was frictionless along the ground. vehicle 1 has foreward and backward controls restored in less time, but the sideways controls still take about 12 seconds to restore and is also frictionless when on the ground 12 secs after tab has been pressed.. havent experamented with it with any other vehicle types yet.

jump works on FPS controls, though control remains, the vehicles animation stops for (approx)12 seconds (i had it set on FPS mode with a 3rd person camera veiw)

Jump works perfectly for me, but that's with FPS control mode and a model that has a jump animation. I suspect if there isn't a jump animation in the model file, that's why the animation freezes (a bug perhaps - if jump isn't present it ought to default to walk/run)
