Connection Failed.

I'm new to this. I just DLed the game. I DLed the game last year i got the same error i just didn't play.

it says:

Could not connect to the Galaxy - No Response Either the Galaxy is not currently online or the internet connection is not avaiable, check your connection or try later.

I know my net is working. so i dont know whats wrong. i keep on tring to get in.

Same here...I think the galaxy is down...

you know when it will come back up? but it's kind of funny to see the same error form last year today. ^_^

apparently the powers that be are out of pocket for the weekend... for you newer players that arent aware, you can still connect to a few planets by hitting the 'don't connect' button and then selecting 'server list' from the main menu after that

...it was just a power cut. Galaxy's back up now.

I have found that when the galaxy is down....you can still go to planets.
the other day when the galaxy was down, I went to a planet, and then launched from there, and was in the normal galaxy.
Just wondering what that was all about.
