hello again. i just downloaded theuniversal on a different computer to the one that i usually use, and it obviously is coming up with the registration screen. is there anyway i can bypass this screen so i can play the universal on this computer.

if you enter the same username and password you used on your other puter everything should be ok.

Um... did we finish the password reminder code yet? Magic might be able to help but if not... you'll need to wait for mit to get back. He's away travelling with work at the moment, and won't return until (I think) the end of the week.

nope that code hasnt been written yet i can do a simple request for the galaxy server to display the player pass to either myself, mit or fooli on demand however thats not a great way of doing things i would prefer to send an email with the details which is a bit more complex

He means it's complex writing the code to get the game to do it automatically. Magic, if you let me know how I get the pass out of the galaxy I'll mail it to dramaking. I expect there's a command or something I haven't been told about/have forgotten about.

Drama, email fooli [at] theuniversal [dot] net with your username (the one you use to log in to the galaxy) and when I know your pass i'll let you know.

It was indeed down due to this post. It is now back up again, and drama has his password. Go us. Well go Magic mostly, but y'know :)

As Fooli said its fixed now either myself, mit or fooli can recover passwords until weve sorted out the code to email them to the player on request.
