if your posting saying you want it to be lowered, then he's entitled to his opinion of it being the right price.
3 hours? what are you trading the whole time? .1cr profit water or food?
once you make a bit of money, you can move to more expensive things that make more profit. like minerals for 9cr that you can sell in another system for 11 cr and make 2cr profit per mineral.

It was cheap as hell a while ago...But they where being abuse so Mit jacked the price up...
Also in the more earlier docs that help you tell you what to do in space and how space worked said to buy a IMP drive, scout for trades rotutes, then type !resetme, and use that trade rotute to make your self enough money to buy a better ship and late on A IMP drive.
Those where to good old days!

of course people will trade to get one, thiers no other way to
hence the reason drama started this topic. he only wanted an infimp to easily goto planets, not because he wanted to trade.
i'd look at a better ship as a sign of a person that likes trading
since...well...everybody that likes tradeing does eventually buy a better ship to speed up thier trades.
yet, not everybody that wants an infimp wants to do any trading afterwords, nor does everybody that wants an infimp want a bigger/faster/better ship (like every trader does)
you also have to do TONS more trading to get better ships, which shows a heck of alot more interest in trading then an infimp that costs less then every ship besides the 2 starter ships.
as for the guild needing an infimp, thats just a basic easy to obtain thing that was probably only required just to limit it to anybody and everybody that traded just enough to get it, wether or not they actually like trading. probably coulden't be based on a ship since different players use different ships for trading.

Yes, but some people are willing, and some people complain about the price. The infimp is kinda useless to people not trading. It can take you to worlds that either have been offline for months, or it can take you to a boring world that is nowhere near being complete. Otherwise, that world would be on the fipro list. You get it, you go to three worlds you heard used to exist, you look at them for 5 seconds, and you never use it again. If your gonna complain about the price, then you don't need it to begin with.zaroba wrote:of course people will trade to get one, thiers no other way to
.
let me get this straight.
your assuming that every single player that ever has and ever will own an infimp and most worlds that do, did, or will exist wont be finished and that every player that is, did and will play finds most of the worlds boring?
thats a pretty big assumption your making thier
espeically since not every world will be on the fipro list.
i don't see paint's plaza on the fipro. or treasure island (or whatever its called). or a few other unregistered worlds players often visit. nor do i see planitia on the fipro and its a completed world
just because you think some worlds or boring is no reason to make a claim that judges all players.

No, I'm not. But you know anyone that wants to play the universal on a large piece of grass with two test buildings? I never said all worlds not on the fipro list are boring, but non of them are really finished, or near prepared for a actual game. There not as boring as they are not near there goal. As far as i know, and i may be wrong, those two worlds you mentioned aren't finished. Yes know that no world is ever really finished, but as i said, piece of grass and two test buildings.
i've never actually been to those worlds actually (i have no infimp yet )
i just see players in the zoric and sabrada chat talking about em often and going to em, plus unregistered world owners asking me questions about settings.
when was the last time you visited them? worlds can take weeks to be set up. so can't just judge your opinion on them from one single visit while its in development.
obviously something is thier to keep players interested.
thus shows a use of the infimp for non traders.
either way, just because you have to trade to get a cheap infimp is no reason to say its only for traders and has no use for other players who like to explore and help out developing unregistered worlds. especially when people who don't like trading only trade enough to get them for the convenience of having them to visit new unregistered worlds and when thiers many more things that require much more dedication to get (like the ships, or a level 40 stardrive)
perhaps some of these empty worlds are empty due to lack of owner ambition caused by the lack of visitors they will get resulting from people like you detering the purchase of inf imps by people who don't like to trade
i know thats why matthews world never came up. its also why i have little desire to finish ciroz and why i considered closing zoric for good when it was in m-25 and not yet on the fipro list.
and it makes obvious sense. why put tons of work into a world when it wont get any visitors?
