Unknown Planets

Do unknown planets show up on the F5 system map while in space? I'm in Cirrus Minor, are there any unknown planets there?

yes, unknowns show up in the system map.

they appear the same as any other planet except they have Unknown for the name and no ping.

And there are no unknown planets in Cirrus Minor.

Does anyone know where the nearest unknown planet to Cirrus Minor is? I don't have an infimp and only the default amount of irridium so the nearer the better. Hopefully if i can get there you'll all have a nice new econ called Balloon World to go to.
