"Noobish" Question

Is there any way to run my unregistered world with the galaxy down? Because when I open the "Your World" program and then open the game, every time I select 'my world' on the title screen the game quits and it goes back to the "Your World" program. I just thought it would be something to do while waiting, that is to make a new world of my own.

For all I know I might not be able to connect anyways and the galaxy being down is covering that for now.

Even though the galaxy is down, when i start my world and then run the universal i can click on 'your world' in the title screen and goto my world without any problems. Are you starting the universal from the icon in the 'your world' program? Are you clicking 'abort' followed by 'dont connect' before going to the title screen? I'm not a techie, hopefuly some of that was of some help.

if you wanna get to your world, don't even bother going threw the galaxy.

just hit the little globe icon on the server.

Well heres the thing. when i try to go to my world from the program, the program starts up. When i try to click on m world, the game shuts off and it goes back to the server window.

Should I reinstall the game? Has anyone else ever had this problem???

Right on. Personally if i was doing what Zar says there and it still behaved strangely i'd reinstall the game. But if i were you i'd wait for someone else to suggest the same thing because my opinion on technical matters is almost completely worthless and not worth posting, oops...
