Maybe I have the right forum for this question, it really isn't help, more curiosity.
How many players are there for theuniversal? It seems like a pretty big community, and it has plenty of people linking to it. By Alexas stats you get a good few million visits.
Just wondering, anyway, is there any eye-candy I can use to link here, I was considering making a gaming-related website - kind of off topic.
If not, I would like permission to make one of my own banners for it, possibly using a few graphics in this game.

Maybe over the course of a year or something.. :]Rough stats for november show about 5000 downloads of the various clients (800 so far for the latest public vers + 350 for the atractor version), and up to 300-400 players loggin in per day on peak days. Sabrada stats show 160 ppl visiting there in the last week.
The galaxy server records the number of unique players who've been active in the last 2 months, and i believe thats currently at about 3000 - tho that probably includes a lot of ppl who've visited once and had PC compatability problems, got confused by the lack of help in space or something, or just didnt like it..
Galaxy stats are roughly 400/4000 at the moment (players active in the last couple of days/last couple of months). Our last publicity run pushed that to something like 3,000/11,000 before it all fell over.
Whenever we reset the galaxy server the numbers climb back up to the 400/4000 level fairly quickly.Difficult to know for sure but I'd say we have a core of regular 'several hours per day' players; a couple of thousand people who play every few days, or every once in a while; and several thousand who've tried it and for whatever reason haven't come back in a while. In the last 12 months mit has fixed an awful lot of the issues that may have put people off last time we did an announcement - next round of publicity will hopefully boost the regular numbers a bit.
