Help on The Republic.

Hi,

I'm a new player. I just started to play today actually. I think that I've picked an obvious user name because each time I try to go to the Republic it tells me that my user name and password don't match. I've been able to access other planets but I'd like to try out the Republic. Can anyone give me advise as to what I should do? I don't want to have multiple accounts either. Should I completely uninstall the software and try to reinstall it again from scratch with a new user name?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

it means someone else is using that name on republic u need to change yours to be able to go on there.. to change it go ingame hit f1, file and change name...if i'm wrong plz let me know

its probable that won't help if its the username rather than nickname that is already in use. I'll check the records tonight and assuming the other login hasnt been used for a while i'll wipe it.. so you should be able to get in by tomorrow.

Thanks so much. It must be the user name. I tried to change the nickname to a different variation of the spelling but that didn't seem to help me. I didn't want to create extra accounts and appear to be 'cheating'. I appreciate the help.

ah um.. better tell me your username then :] (Sorry, i'd assumed you'd used your forum name but i couldnt find any record for beth).
