erasmus Ime in uni now behind a simuler system...

There is one quick and easy way to fix this little problem since UDP does not go through the proxie, turn it off :)

It supprised me today that turning it off once logged in I managed to log on to sab.

btw... Being mates with the network admin don't help, trust me I know lol.

what is UDP, and how do I turn it off?

Turn the Proxie off after you log on ;)

I still don't know how!
I can do java but internet stuff confuses and scares me.
Turn off proxy: I'm fine with that.
But how?

Login so websties are working...

In IE, Tools, Internet Options, Connections, Lan Settings (unick the proxe)

the proxy server would still be running and blocking ports and other certain sites.
all that does is specify whether or not you need to go threw a proxy to get access to the internet
