That and the finpro (finite probability drive) are currently not availible.

Why is this? I just started playing the game and now I'm waiting 20 minutes to get to a planet with the game minimized.

My first impression of this games is extremely negative.

Uhh...I don't you go anywhere if you run the game minimized.
The only reason you should travel to a planet manualy is station trading(under works). If your not trading head to your nearest station and buy an infinite improbiblty drive and warp where you need to go.

Lastly,there is no point drives as of yet,but there are infinte impropbilty drives (just look around at diffrent stations,theres bound to be one [coughbiplanecough] with some.

If your not trading than infmp>point drive.
