Need tips and hints on space trading

Yes, i am new and i not sure about the trading system. I first get a trading ship and a cargo bay, left 10cr and i need to explore station with no imp drive .. consume time and i might end up nothing .. so how could i make it easy and safer?

Here's what I did:
First time around you buy a infimp drive and check out prices at stations. Once you found a decent place thats sell low and another that buys high then your set. (Type !resetme to rid of the infmip and reset your money)

Now you buy a cargo transport and a cargo bay and use found route and hopefully get enough money to buy an infimp.

Yup that's what i thought of.. but other station on other system.. but how i travel with out other system by the normal drive?

How i use stardrive? I click on other system. and click stardrive. It only says "Your stardrive has a maximum range of 4 parsecs" And nothing.......?

You have a stardrive with unidrum by default...4 or 8 I think...use that as a starting advatage.

So how i travel from system to system with that trasnports ship? That's the first prob, also what's the good of prirate ship?

you pres f6 and bring up the galactic map thingy click a star system, .... f3 back to cockpit and click the stardrive button and sit back n watch.

pirate ship is faster... turns faster, goes at ion 10.

only 2 of them in existance currently
