Forum Bugs(Status: Reported)

ive read a few posts on here about problems with forums, i also have had problems with the forums

they cant seem to keep me logged in. i click the login automaticly (or somthing similar) but its been going on since i signed up. never realy thought it was much of a prob till now

im guessing theres problems with read/write access in some files (Not chmod. just a general code error for storing crap). i dunno its just a wild gues

hmm andy could also be your browser settings blocking all cockies (or a firewall with built in web filtering such as ZoneAlarm Pro or Norton Internet Security) ... just add a-tractor to your trusted sites and allow it to use cockies and it will work fine

nothing to do with my browser settings
but it could be zonealarm thing is though... this has been going on even without zonealarm enabled. and i dont like norton watching everything(exept files im opening)

i just checked a few things and its when ever i click on the graphical form button up the top that seems to log me out.

when i click the text link (Forum Index) everything is fine so maybe if graphical forum button was changed to http://gameislands.net/tinboard/index.php everything will be fine and dandy

this link logs me out.. sort of. it just ask me to log in again

scrap all of what i just said

just rechecked it again

click on forum graphic button or forum index text button and i get logged out

then if i click on repsond to topic or add new topic links it returns me to main and i am logged in again (Strange no?) and i have no firewall, cookie blocking, norton enabled

i have no problem with any of that
but its kinda annoying that thiers no page buttons on the topics when viewing them.
i hate needing to leave the topic and go back to the forum to read page 2 or 3 of the topic

yea i just noticed that today. also now im having to refresh the page as forums aint showing the true topics. it could just be a problem on my end but i think the forums need a little more work
