About a little less than a week ago I was casually helping another player out on reina roja, by giving him a vehicle. When to my suprised I was kicked off the planet when Hedgehog apparently disconnected it prior to leaving on a vacation (which I learned only later from someone else).

Now, after several days and countless checks to see if Hedge has returned, reina and reine are still down. This has been a real problem for me, since the majority of my time playing is spent on roja. I have been bored out of my mind with little to do

I simply suggest that the next time any world owner plans to be gone (or shut a world down for any other reson) for more than a day or two that they post a formal notice on the forums of the expected down time and that they check their world(s) to ensure there is no one on in the middle of something when they pull the plug.

kool u are talking about me, but i think that mit should have acess to all of the planets servers so he can control them so we dont need to go through this. I like just started and i want to play on reina roja so badly but i cant and u guys need to get a hold of him and get ascess to the server, please i am begging u. i miss reina roja. please bring her back to us.

do you know how much time mit would need to control, moderate, and maintain every server?

I understand that for various reasons world owners have to shut down their worlds from time to time. I'll I was trying to do is to get them to maybe let people know ahead of time when a world is gonna be shut down and for how long. This is the second time Hedge has done this since I've joined and neither time anyone expected it or knew how long he would remain MIA.

p.s. If anyone has any information on hedge's whereabouts and planned return time I would be very happy to hear it.

he didn't say anything before leaving... atleast not to my knowledge.. last time they were down for a long time he was moving but I haven't heard anything this time.

Er... not entirely sure what you're talking about. They're both up, and have been for some time.

Make sure you're using the latest version of the client.

Er... hrrm. You could try wiping any references to them from your gateways list, mebbe (run the client... F1.. View... Gateways List... File... Gateways List) (yes dumb isn't it).

Other than that, could be hedge router weirdness, your router weirdness, or just general weirdness. They're definitely up, though: I've just landed on both of 'em.

Heheh I made I mistake and removed the galaxy connection from my galaxy list can anyone give me the IP number and Port real quick so I can get it back agian?

delete the file Clients/Data/Gateways.lst and it will auto-generate a new one with the gal address in it.

likewise. tis strange.
last time i checked this even the traceroute pings were getting swallowed somewhere on the way to hedge's server, so it wasnt particularly something to do with the game.
i think the solution will probably be to turn the internet off and on again.

poor little people how do you think i feel with Gyruss, but i have to respect that leig has an outside life attending collage and what not, running his computer shop and programming various other things. A real wise idea for Mit to hand out worlds is to make sure they have a good computer, reliable internet, and atleast some sort of time to manage the world.
