Connecting problems

well everytime i try to connect to a server this error message appear

Connection failed
---------------------
Could not connect to the world - No response
Check ur primary gateway is currently active

i'm using and ADSL connection and no firewall installed.

Try downloading the program again, sometimes that works.

Are you running the "island.exe" or the "tractor.exe"?

Try removing all the islands from your favorite list and then add a few that are populated (zoric, imperial, zouk, newbie island, ...)

It could also be that your modem has a built in firewall or that your provider blocks some ports (i had the same problem in college a bit ago ... they blocked some ports back then so i couldnt get on any island)

Your could not connect the world responce sounds like as if you are trying to connect your island. To goto where people play, click on the shortcut that looks like a wheel.

Make sure u read the sticky from zar in the above topic to ensure your world ip settings right. You could be trying to connect to the wrong adress.

well i'm running tractor.exe ,i do not have a build in firewal and i have also read zar topic before i even started this thread and i'm not connecting to my island .
i'm trying to connect to those populated area like you say zoric, imperial, zouk, newbie island

so did it work so far or still cant get on an island?

It could still be your ISP that is blocking the ports (if nothing else seems to be the problem).
