I am trying to figure out which superuser on Gyruss has taken a dislike to me. As far as I can see, it has to be someone with above normal settings. That means either the owner, or a god who thinks its funny to play with people.
I have died, again.
Yesterday, I had a newly reset account.10 lives left, and a brand new, full stock of money of 650s - all skills removed. Not sure who did it, but I was grateful to them as I had gotten myself into a pickly since last week when I died 50 times in a day.
I was in the equivalent of Dover for some reason, no idea why, I had never gone that far south. It took me a good 10 minutes to walk back to Mud City, but it was dismissable as I had money again.
I listened very closely to what I was told, bought 40 lamb chops, stocked my new house (In Mud City). Then went and bought 50 milk, and again stocked the house with it. I then entered the house, so that the big blue bar came up, listing the house inventory, and logged off. It told me that I had to return in 28 days, or I would die of starvation. It also said to log back in in 12, or I would lose my homes and buildings.
I logged back on, left the house, thanked the person who helped me set up - Dogmeat, and went to the school to learn a skill - shopkeeping. I then took four shop manager jobs, in separate businesses, walked back to my house, checked I was safe and secure inside it, with theblue bar along the bottom, telling me what was in my house, and logged off. Again, it told me 28 days real-time remaining.
Tonight, I logged back in for the first time since then - a little over 24 hours later.
I'm dead. Not only that, I have 0 lives remaining, and I am in France.

Now, since its not possible to climb a gyruss building, that can only mean, some superuser with a mean streak put me up there. How the hell I am going to get back, I have no idea. I hope walking underwater is possible. Doubt it.
Could whoever is responsible just tell me straight why they want newcomers out of Universal? Or is it just something personal? Have I offended one of you in some way? Just tell me please, what is it about game reviewers that you hate so much?

That would be interesting to find out, because it would take one hell of a bug to do that much damage. I don't think it's very funny, and events like this easily lead to a serious drop in fun, and players for that matter. What's happened to these worlds? where have all the loyal dedicated people who stopped stuff like this from happening gone? I apologise for my tone, but MorLi is a friend of mine, and this is NOT how new players are meant to be treated.

there has been a known bug previously where ppl were respawning in the bottom left corner of the map.... but havent heard of it for sometime and its fixed afaik
generally anybody who is purposefully messing with your game is abusing there powers and i will ask leigon to take a look at the logs just to see whats going on

I remember back in zoric...6 i believe? we were having a problem with people just suddenly dying for no reason...basically, going from 10 lives to 0 pretty much instantly. Best that could be told, it was a bug. Perhaps Zar remembers more about it? It was frustrating for the players, and frustrating for the Ops because we could not pinpoint what was causing it and how to prevent it.
Sounds like Leigon is quite happy to help you out given the circumstances. Sucks that your introduction to the game was hitting a somewhat rare bug.
I'm hoping you'll give the game another try.
NOTE: this bug had NOTHING to do with food/drink/being in a house that we (the ops on zoric at the time) were ever able to tell.

Legion, my in-game name is Morli, I would appreciate the reset. But is there any point? Not to sound disparaging, but, I cannot manage to survive a full day. This is not the first time this has happened. Its the first time I have gone so far, but, well, if staying in a house, fully stocked up with food is not going to keep me alive, how can I ever hope to compete with those players who are managing to stay alive?
I work for a living. I cannot afford to log in just before going to bed at night - making that bed as late as possible, log in first thing every morning, as early as possible, and all throughout the day each day, just to keep alive.

if you started in france, you will always respawn thier when you blow up or die, as its your home town.
when you respawn, you spawn about 10 tractor heights above the ground and fall, thus landing on the building. even though you can't climb them normally in some vehicles, they have collision and you can be on them.
stuff that people stock in buildings isen't logged.
Thier wasen't any chemicals or explosives in the house also, was thier? as these will be eaten/drunkin and result in death and they don't add to the time meter.
thier is a bug that only seems to come and go pertaining to sudden death. it usually seems to only happen to certain people and usually only happens for a short time. it'll come around, for a few days/weeks 10-15 people will constantly die, then it'll go away again. then it might come on a different island, the same 10-15 will die thier, then it'll go away again.
you said this isen't the first time this has happened, so i'm guessing this death thing has happened in the past. i don't want to sound doubting at all, but i find it odd that the bug almost always hits the same people on several islands. usually young or new players.

Two other points,
1. yes, I can see where I am when I have 0 lives, it tells me in orange that I have 0 lives, but can still move around.
2. I did not start in france, I started in Newcastle. When I started, no towns were built in france yet - no way to get there.
Okay, that insult was a bit strong. I apologise, you are not a moron, and a drive down to the shops and back for calming food sorted things out in my head.
I just get really angry when people accuse me of lying, then laugh as was going on above. I am also female, not male, and I'm sure you feel the same if someone rtefers to you repeatedly with the wrong gender attached.
