lol. Ok, I was wondering why I couldnt log out inside my house and escape that constant spray of fire from the air.

It does return to the person giving the gas when he moves, and the person that recieves the gas looses it IF he moves. If the guy that recieves the fuel logs off and back on WITHOUT moving, he will have it permanently. So then both the giver and the recievee keep the fuel.
