Cool stuff!

Hey Mit good to see the TU hasnt been abandoned. I was always trying to find ways of improving TU's visual by bench testing high res or "HD" textures on my planets and such. my first one was the "HD" countach, then was the HD sky's happily adopted by Zaroba in Zoric a while back....

I have seen many travel through these space dust routes, many that have come and gone, many that have risen and fallen, but this time its only very few that walk along corpses of battles past, fly by ruin ships and dead lifeless planets, we once were many.. but now we are few.

sorry i didnt reply sooner. moved across the country and just got my hands on a laptop today.

I used the regular windows tu world server running under linux using a linux software called "WINE". But the client itself wont run under linux.

get a virus scanner with firewall. a good free one is Comodo.

try have a virus scanner installed next time

Yeah that could be exactly one of the reasons why we have such low active player count (usually just us long time players)

Well I did a fresh install of Windows 7 and that means I have to download all the files from Zion and other planets again. My problem is with Zion. Zion has the slowest downloads in TU!! I mean 0.1kb/s to 0.3kb/s thats basicly 100-300 bytes per second!! Ariya and every other planet download just fin...

try landing on another planet and then landing back on zion.

Iv had a major bug once that it would have 1 planets settings on another planet. That seemed to fix it but eventually had to do a clean install of TU

17" LCD 1280x1024 usually Windowed to around 1024x768 and rarely go full screen since i tend to do 3 other things while on TU

Shorty hasnt been around in a few years, but Mishka, me and maybe vinnashal (he said he might be coming back) are around in TU. Smurfy shows up randomly

For space activity we could use faction... but not wars.... At least not in Cirrus as its a newb spawn zone and they can get caught in the crossfire making them cry like newbs and leaving to another game... it not so much about playing on zion but new players usually land on zion and thats where they learn how to play

yeah i agree with Mishka.. Every single time player numbers start picking up zion goes down as if on purpose.
