this happening after launching from a planet, or after a stardrive or something similar? Presumably a bug with the intended engine speed not being reset after some special event like that, and i would imagine it'd clear itself if you press page up once. shouldnt be hard to fix either way. How can I work around this?

I had to redownload it only once myself. I guess I got lucky.

What does impulse -0.6 mean?
I frequently get that where my speed would be and it stays that way for as long as 15 minutes real time. And I am stopped. If I want to get anywhere I have to fly in reverse to do it.

I really wonder if it isn't something small and stupid.
